Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken Use quality chicken for best flavor.
  • 1 cup black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup corn (frozen or canned)
  • 1 cup salsa Choose your preferred heat level.
  • 2 cups tortilla chips Distribute chips evenly.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend) Cheese will melt beautifully.

Toppings

  • 1 each avocado, diced For topping.
  • 1/2 cup sour cream For serving.
  • to taste chopped cilantro For garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients.
  • Combine the cooked shredded chicken, black beans, corn, and salsa in the slow cooker and stir well.

Cooking

  • Layer the tortilla chips over the top of the chicken mixture.
  • Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded cheese over the chips.
  • Cover the slow cooker and set it to low heat. Cook for about 2-3 hours.
  • Check to see if the cheese has melted and everything is heated through before serving.
  • Top with diced avocado, a dollop of sour cream, and a sprinkle of chopped cilantro before serving.
