  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup cream cheese added 30 minutes before serving
  • Salt and pepper to taste to enhance flavor
  • Chopped parsley for garnish adds freshness

Preparation

  • Prepare your crockpot by placing the chicken breasts at the bottom. Make sure they are not stacked on top of each other.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the ranch dressing mix, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth. Stir this mixture well until it’s thoroughly combined and smooth.
  • Pour the ranch mixture over the chicken breasts in the crockpot. Ensure even coating.

Cooking

  • Cover the crockpot with its lid and set it to cook on low for 6 to 7 hours.
  • About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the cream cheese until fully integrated.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.

Serving

  • Serve the creamy ranch chicken over rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

For thicker sauce, reduce chicken broth or add more cream cheese. Try adding vegetables like carrots or broccoli in the last half of cooking for added nutrition.
