  • 2 lbs Lean Ground Beef Use lean ground beef to minimize grease.
  • 1 large Yellow Onion, diced
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Tomato Paste
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon Mustard
  • 1 lb Short Cut Pasta Can customize with different pasta shapes.
  • 2.5 cups Beef Broth Use more for thinner consistency.
  • 2 cups Milk Can be adjusted for desired creaminess.
  • 2 cups Sharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded Other cheeses can be mixed in for variety.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat until fully cooked and nicely browned.
  • Add diced yellow onion to the skillet and cook for about one minute until slightly translucent.
  • Introduce minced garlic and stir for about 30 seconds to enhance the flavor.
  • Season with paprika, salt, and pepper. Add tomato paste and Dijon mustard, mixing until well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture to the Crockpot. Add short-cut pasta, beef broth, and milk, stirring thoroughly.

Cooking

  • Set the Crockpot on high for 2-3 hours or low for 4-5 hours.
  • In the last 15 minutes of cooking, add shredded sharp cheddar cheese and stir until melted.

Notes

For variations, consider adding diced veggies or using ground turkey. To avoid mushy pasta, add it halfway through the cooking time.
