Ingredients
  

Meatball Mixture

  • 1 pound ground beef Can substitute with ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs Use gluten-free breadcrumbs if needed.
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 piece egg
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper Adjust to taste.

Sauce and Garnish

  • 1 cup Korean BBQ sauce Make sure all meatballs are well coated.
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds Optional garnish.

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients together.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped green onions, egg, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix gently with your hands, being careful not to overwork the meat.
  • Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs.

Cooking

  • Place the meatballs in a single layer in the bottom of your crockpot.
  • Pour the Korean BBQ sauce over the meatballs, ensuring they are fully coated.
  • Cover and set the crockpot to cook on low for about 6 hours or on high for about 3 hours.
  • Just before serving, gently stir the meatballs to mix everything together.

Notes
