Main Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breast Use fresh for best flavor.
  • 2 cans (10-ounce) cream of chicken soup Provides a rich, creamy base.
  • 2 packets ranch seasoning mix Infuses chicken with flavor.
  • 1 pound Yukon gold potatoes Chopped into bite-sized pieces.
  • to taste grams Grated Parmesan cheese For serving, adds richness.
  • as needed cups water Adjust sauce thickness.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Pat each chicken breast dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
  • Place the chicken breasts evenly at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine ranch seasoning with cream of chicken soup and stir until well-blended.
  • Pour the ranch and cream mixture over the chicken, coating well.
  • Fill one of the empty cream of chicken cans with water and pour it into the slow cooker.
  • Roughly chop the Yukon gold potatoes and add them to the slow cooker.

Cooking

  • Cover the Crockpot with its lid and cook on high for 3 hours or on low for 6 to 7 hours.
  • Once done, remove the lid and shred the chicken with two forks, mixing it with the sauce and potatoes.

Serving

  • Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top just before serving.
  • Serve directly from the Crockpot or transfer to a serving dish, including potatoes and sauce.

Notes

For thicker sauce, reduce water amount. Fresh herbs like thyme or parsley can enhance flavor when added just before serving.
