Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef or sausage Use high-quality meat for the best flavor.
  • 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 1 can (15 oz) chili con queso
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Freshly grated melts better.
  • 2-3 jalapeños, diced Adjust based on spice preference.

For Serving

  • Tortilla chips or veggies Sturdy chips are best for dipping.

Preparation

  • Brown the meat in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it apart until no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  • In the crockpot, combine the cooked meat, diced tomatoes, chili con queso, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and diced jalapeños. Stir well to mix.

Cooking

  • Cover the crockpot and set it to cook on low for 2-3 hours.
  • Stir occasionally for even heating and smoothness.

Serving

  • Once smooth and creamy, serve warm with tortilla chips or veggies.

Notes

For a spicy kick, add more jalapeños or substitute with chorizo. Leftovers can be refrigerated for 3-4 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
