  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts Quality chicken is preferable.
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix (about 1 ounce)
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (10.5 ounces) Can substitute with cream of mushroom soup.
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper Adjust to taste.
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt Adjust to taste.
  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional) For an extra layer of richness.
  • To taste Fresh parsley for garnish (optional) Adds freshness to the dish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot, arranging them evenly.
  • Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix evenly over the chicken.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, minced garlic, black pepper, salt, and onion powder. Stir until smooth.
  • Pour the creamy mixture over the chicken, ensuring it's well coated.

Cooking

  • Cover the crockpot with its lid and set it to cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours.
  • Optional: Stir occasionally to better distribute the sauce.
  • Once cooked, shred the chicken using two forks inside the crockpot.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top and let it melt for a few minutes.

Serving

  • Serve the Crockpot Ranch Chicken over rice, on fresh greens, or use it as a filling for sandwiches or wraps.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley for added color.

Notes
