Preparation

  • Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot in an even layer.
  • Pour the chicken broth over the chicken.
  • Sprinkle the ranch seasoning and gravy mix evenly over the chicken.
  • Cover the crockpot and set it to low heat. Cook for 6 to 8 hours until the chicken is tender and easily shreddable.

Cooking the Mashed Potatoes

  • Prepare the mashed potatoes according to your preferred recipe while the chicken is cooking.

Serving

  • After the chicken is done, shred it right inside the crockpot and mix well with the gravy.
