Ingredients
  

Salad Base

  • 6 cups romaine lettuce, chopped Fresh and crisp romaine for the base.
  • 2 cups strawberries, hulled and sliced Juicy strawberries add sweetness.
  • 1 cup cucumber, diced For crunch and freshness.
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled Adds creaminess and a savory flavor.
  • 1/4 cup walnuts or pecans, chopped Optional for added crunch.
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced For additional flavor.

Dressing

  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinaigrette Can be homemade or store-bought.
  • to taste salt and pepper For seasoning.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Rinse the romaine lettuce under cool water, chop it into bite-sized pieces, and place it into a large salad bowl.
  • Rinse the strawberries, remove their tops, and slice them into thin pieces. Add them to the bowl with the lettuce.
  • Dice the cucumber and add it to the mixture.
  • Crumble the feta cheese over the top of the lettuce and strawberries.
  • Chop the walnuts or pecans coarsely and add them to the bowl.
  • Thinly slice the red onion and incorporate it into the salad mixture.

Mixing

  • Drizzle the balsamic vinaigrette over the salad and toss everything gently until all ingredients are well combined.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve immediately, or let stand in the fridge for about 15 minutes before enjoying.

Notes
