Ingredients
  

  • 1 box Holiday Funfetti Cake Mix
  • 4 Egg Whites
  • 1/3 cup Oil
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1/3 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon Almond Extract
  • 1 cup Butter Softened, for frosting
  • 5 cups Powdered Sugar For frosting
  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla Extract For frosting
  • 1/2 tablespoon Cocoa Powder For chocolate frosting
  • Yellow Food Coloring
  • Green Food Coloring
  • Sprinkles For decorating

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, egg whites, oil, milk, mayonnaise, vanilla extract, and almond extract. Mix until smooth.
  • Line muffin pans with festive cupcake liners and fill each about two-thirds full with batter.
  • Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool completely.
  • In another bowl, cream the butter and gradually add powdered sugar, mixing until smooth. Add vanilla extract and beat until fluffy.
  • Divide frosting: mix cocoa powder into one portion for chocolate frosting, add yellow food coloring to another, and green food coloring to the rest.
  • Frost each cupcake with the different colors and arrange them in a tree shape on a platter.
  • Sprinkle with festive decorations and enjoy your Cupcake Christmas Tree!
