  • 2 lbs Boneless, Skinless Chicken Thighs (or Breasts)
  • 1 cup Teriyaki Sauce Use a good quality sauce for best flavor.
  • 1/2 cup Honey
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Minced Garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Minced Ginger
  • 1 cup Bell Peppers, Sliced (Any Color) Can customize based on preference.
  • 1 cup Onion, Sliced
  • 1 cup Broccoli Florets
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds (for garnish)
  • 4 servings Cooked Rice (for serving)
  • Chopped Green Onions (for garnish, to taste)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cut the boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts into bite-sized pieces if desired.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the teriyaki sauce, honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and minced ginger. Stir until well combined.
  • Pour the chicken into the crockpot, and drizzle the mixed sauce over the chicken, ensuring it's well coated.
  • Add the sliced bell peppers, onion, and broccoli florets atop the chicken.

Cooking

  • Cover the crockpot with its lid and set to cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  • Check for doneness as cooking time draws to a close, ensuring the chicken is tender and easily shredable.

Serving

  • Serve the teriyaki chicken over a bed of cooked rice.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
