Easy Healthy Broccoli Pasta

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz Pasta Your choice of shape
  • 2 cups Broccoli Florets
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 0.5 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese Optional
  • Red Pepper Flakes to taste Optional

Instructions
 

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta according to package instructions.
  • For the last 3 minutes of cooking, add broccoli florets to the pot.
  • Drain pasta and broccoli together in a colander and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add the drained pasta and broccoli to the skillet. Toss to combine.
  • Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes to taste. Stir well to coat.
  • Serve warm, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
