- 1 package crescent roll dough Ensure to unroll and press seams together.
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened Best if at room temperature.
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon Adjust to taste.
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk To mix with powdered sugar for icing.
- Food coloring (yellow, green, purple) For coloring the icing.
- Sprinkles (optional) For decoration.
Instructions
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a clean surface and press the seams together.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Mix until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
- Roll the dough tightly from one of the longer sides and pinch the seams to seal.
- Slice the rolled dough into 1-inch pieces.
- Place the slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each bite.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
Icing
- While the bites cool, whisk together powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
- Divide the icing into three bowls, coloring each one with food coloring (one yellow, one green, and one purple).
- Drizzle the colored icing over the cooled bites in a festive pattern.
- Optionally, sprinkle with additional sprinkles for flair.
