  • 2 large eggs Beaten with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Regular or gluten-free.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil or cooking spray For greasing the baking sheet.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese with the breadcrumbs.
  • In a separate bowl, crack the eggs and beat them lightly with a pinch of salt and cracked pepper.
  • Dip each chicken breast into the egg mixture, allowing excess egg to drip back.
  • Coat the chicken in the Parmesan and breadcrumb blend, pressing it onto the surface.
  • Grease a baking sheet with olive oil or cooking spray.
  • Place the coated chicken breasts on the baking sheet with space between them.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Remove from the oven and allow the chicken to sit for a couple of minutes before serving.
