Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, granulated sugar, and egg. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  • Add baking soda, salt, and vanilla extract to the mixture and mix well.
  • Gently fold in the chocolate chips.

Baking

  • Drop tablespoon-sized portions of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
  • Bake in the oven for about 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and allow cookies to cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
