Ingredients
  

Seafood and Proteins

  • 2 pounds large shrimp, deveined and peeled
  • 1 pound fresh sausage, sliced into pieces Consider using smoked or spicy sausage

Vegetables

  • 1 pound baby potatoes, halved
  • 4 ears corn, cut into quarters
  • 1 lemon, quartered For infusion and garnish

Seasoning and Garnishes

  • 4 quarts water For boiling
  • 1/4 cup Old Bay seasoning (or your favorite seafood seasoning) Adjust to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
  • Additional lemon wedges for serving

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large pot, bring the water to a rolling boil over high heat.
  • Add the Old Bay seasoning and lemon quarters to infuse the water with flavor.
  • Add the baby potatoes to the pot and cook for about 10-12 minutes, or until they are fork-tender.

Cooking

  • Next, add the sausage pieces to the pot and boil for another 5 minutes.
  • Add the corn and continue boiling for an additional 5 minutes, ensuring it softens.
  • Finally, add the shrimp to the pot and cook for about 3-5 minutes or until they turn pink and opaque.
  • Once cooked, drain the contents of the pot and spread everything onto a large serving platter.

Serving

  • Sprinkle with salt to taste and garnish with fresh parsley and additional lemon wedges for squeezing.
