  • 2 pieces limes, juiced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Start by preparing your ingredients. Dice the tomatoes, chop the onion, mince the garlic, and dice the jalapeño peppers. If you prefer less heat, remove the seeds of the jalapeños before dicing.
  • In a large bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, chopped onion, minced garlic, and diced jalapeños. Stir them together gently.
  • Add the chopped cilantro and lime juice to the bowl.
  • Sprinkle in the ground cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix well to ensure all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  • Let the salsa sit for about 15-30 minutes at room temperature to allow the flavors to meld together.
  • Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed before serving.

Notes
