Ingredients
  

For the salmon

  • 4 pieces salmon fillets
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons oil (your choice)

For the Firecracker sauce

  • 1/4 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the buffalo sauce, brown sugar, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, ginger, black pepper, and paprika.
  • Season the salmon fillets generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • Heat some oil in a skillet over medium heat and add the salmon fillets, cooking for about 3 minutes on each side.
  • Pour the firecracker sauce over the salmon.
  • Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and let it cook for about 9 minutes.

Serving

  • Serve the Firecracker Salmon on plates, drizzled with any remaining sauce and garnish with freshly chopped herbs.
  • Pair with steamed vegetables or quinoa for a complete meal.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Adjust the buffalo sauce for more or less heat. You can marinate the salmon to enhance flavors.
