  • 2 tbsp olive oil For searing the chicken.
  • 1 cup chicken broth Keeps the casserole moist.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder For flavorful seasoning.
  • 1 tsp onion powder For additional depth of flavor.
  • Salt and pepper to taste Season generously.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Cooking

  • Sear the seasoned chicken breasts in the skillet for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Transfer the seared chicken to a baking dish.
  • Stuff each chicken breast with the French onion dip.
  • Top the stuffed chicken with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • Sprinkle French fried onions over the cheese.
  • Pour the chicken broth gently into the baking dish around the chicken.
  • Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes until golden and crispy.
  • Let the casserole rest for a few minutes before serving.
