French Toast Overnight Oats

  • Mixing Spoon
  • Refrigerator

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup Old Fashioned Oats
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup Milk Of your choice.
  • 1/4 cup Vanilla Yogurt
  • 2-3 tsp Maple Syrup Adjust based on desired sweetness.
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • Roasted or Candied Pecans Garnish
  • Chopped Bananas, Strawberries, and/or Blueberries Garnish
  • Granola Garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a mason jar or ramekin, mix together oats, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  • Add milk, vanilla yogurt, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined.
  • Cover and refrigerate overnight (or at least 4 hours) to allow the oats to absorb the liquid.
  • In the morning, stir the oats. If desired, warm in the microwave for 30-60 seconds.
  • Top with your choice of garnishes such as pecans, fruits, and granola before serving.
