Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz Cream Cheese softened
  • 0.5 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Fresh Strawberries diced
  • 4 slices Bread your choice, white or whole grain
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • Whipped Cream for serving optional

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, blend the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Gently fold in the diced strawberries into the cream cheese mixture.
  • Spread a generous amount of the cream cheese mixture on two slices of bread and top with the remaining slices to form sandwiches.
  • Set up a breading station with flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
  • Dredge each sandwich in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry each sandwich for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Drain on paper towels to remove excess oil. Serve warm, optionally with whipped cream.

Notes
