Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter Melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Optional Add-ins

  • 1 cup chocolate chips Optional for extra chocolate flavor

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  • In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in the granulated sugar until well combined.
  • Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

Mixing Dry Ingredients

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined. Do not overmix.
  • If desired, fold in the chocolate chips for extra chocolate goodness.

Baking

  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes. Check for doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center; it should come out with a few moist crumbs but not wet batter.
  • Let the brownies cool in the pan before cutting them into squares.
