  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a loaf pan by lightly greasing it or lining it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, grated parmesan cheese, diced onion, parsley, minced garlic, eggs, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix everything well until fully incorporated but take care not to overmix.
  • Transfer the chicken mixture into the prepared loaf pan. Shape gently into a loaf form, ensuring an even surface.
  • Spread ketchup over the top for added flavor and moisture, if desired.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 45-50 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • Once cooked, remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for about 10 minutes. This will help the juices settle.

Serving
