Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs

Chocolate

  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set it aside.
  • In another bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy.
  • Add the vanilla extract and eggs to the butter mixture. Beat until fully combined.

Mixing

  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Stir until just combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips, ensuring even distribution.

Baking

  • Scoop big portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them at least 3 inches apart.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
