Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries Gently folded into the dough
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup Optional, for sweetness

Topping Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup oats For topping
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar For topping
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon For topping

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add the Greek yogurt to the flour mixture. If you prefer a sweeter bagel, add honey or maple syrup at this point. Mix until a wet dough forms.
  • Gently fold in the fresh blueberries, being careful not to crush them.
  • Lightly flour your work surface and turn the dough onto it. Knead gently for about a minute until it comes together.
  • Divide the dough into four equal parts. Roll each piece into a rope, about 10-12 inches long, and form a circle, pinching the ends to seal.
  • Place the bagels onto the prepared baking sheet.

Topping

  • In a small bowl, mix the oats, brown sugar, and cinnamon for the topping.
  • Sprinkle this mixture generously over the tops of the bagels.

Baking

  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Let them cool on a wire rack before serving.

Notes
