Creamy Garlic Sauce Ingredients

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Adds flavor to the sauce.
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream For a creamy texture.
  • 2 tablespoons butter For sautéing the garlic.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Used for grilling and roasting.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Adds brightness to the dish.

Garnish

  • to taste Fresh parsley or chives Optional, for garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Rub the chicken breasts with olive oil and season generously with salt and black pepper.
  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

Grilling Chicken

  • Place the chicken on the grill and cook for about 6-8 minutes on each side until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Roasting Broccoli

  • In a mixing bowl, toss the broccoli florets with a drizzle of olive oil, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt.
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F, spread the broccoli on a baking sheet, and roast for about 15-20 minutes until tender and slightly crispy.

Cooking Grains

  • Prepare your choice of grains according to the package instructions.

Making the Creamy Garlic Sauce

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for a minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream, stir well, and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Let it simmer until it thickens.

Assembling the Bowls

  • Layer the cooked grains at the bottom of the bowls.
  • Slice the grilled chicken and place it on top of the grains, followed by the roasted broccoli.
  • Drizzle the creamy garlic sauce over everything and garnish with fresh parsley or chives if desired.
