Ingredients
  

  • 4 ½ cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Butter At room temperature.
  • ½ cup Vegetable Oil Or canola oil.
  • 2 cups Granulated Sugar
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • ½ tsp Almond Extract
  • 3 tsp Cornstarch
  • 1 ½ tsp Baking Powder
  • ¾ tsp Salt
  • 20 pieces Red Heart-Shaped Sprinkles
  • ¼ cup Christmas-Themed Sprinkles
  • 1 cup Butter Softened for icing.
  • 2 ½ cups Powdered Sugar
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • ½ tsp Almond Extract
  • ¼ cup Heavy Cream
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • Food Coloring Neon Green

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine softened butter, granulated sugar, and vegetable oil. Mix until creamy.
  • Add eggs, vanilla extract, and almond extract. Mix until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to wet ingredients, mixing on low until just combined.
  • Using a cookie scoop, roll dough into balls and place on prepared baking sheets. Slightly flatten each ball.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are just golden. Allow to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
  • In a clean mixing bowl, beat softened butter until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar and mix until fluffy.
  • Add heavy cream, vanilla extract, almond extract, and salt. Mix until spreadable.
  • Add neon green food coloring to the icing and mix until desired color is achieved.
  • Once cookies are cool, spread or pipe the icing onto each cookie. Decorate with heart-shaped and Christmas-themed sprinkles while the icing is wet.
  • Allow decorated cookies to set before serving.
