  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 medium zucchinis Washed and sliced into half-moons
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For sautéing
  • 1/2 medium onion Chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic Mined

Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes Adjust based on spice preference

Liquid and Cheese

  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese For flavor and creaminess

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients to streamline the cooking process.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Chop the onion into small pieces and sauté it in the skillet until soft and translucent, about 3 to 4 minutes.

Cooking

  • Mince the garlic and add it to the skillet. Cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add the ground turkey, breaking it up as it cooks. Cook for 6 to 8 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  • Prepare the zucchinis by slicing them into half-moons and add them to the skillet. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes until slightly softened.
  • Season the mixture with oregano, salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes. Mix thoroughly.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and allow the skillet to simmer for another 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and well incorporated.

Serving

  • Serve immediately, directly from the skillet or on individual plates with an extra sprinkle of Parmesan cheese and fresh herbs.

Notes
