Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup granulated white sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose white flour
  • 1/2 cup Hershey’s Special Dark cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 oz cream cheese at room temperature
  • 1/4 cup granulated white sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • orange food coloring to achieve desired shade

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8 baking dish with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together sugar, flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
  • In a separate bowl, beat together eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  • In another bowl, beat together cream cheese, sugar, egg, vanilla extract, and orange food coloring until smooth.
  • Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter and swirl with a knife to create a marbled effect.
  • Bake for about 30-35 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean.
  • Allow to cool completely in the dish before slicing into squares.
