Instructions
Pour Rice Krispies cereal into a large mixing bowl and set aside.
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
Add mini marshmallows to the melted butter and stir continuously until melted and smooth. Add food coloring if desired.
Pour the marshmallow mixture over the Rice Krispies and mix until evenly coated.
Transfer the mixture to a greased 8x8-inch pan and press down firmly to form an even layer.
Allow to cool completely at room temperature for about 20-30 minutes.
Melt white candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl, according to package instructions.
Using a spoon, drizzle the melted candy over the cooled Rice Krispie treats to create ghost or mummy shapes.
Decorate with candy eyes and sprinkles before the candy sets.
Once set, cut into squares or fun shapes and serve!
