Ingredients
  

  • 1 box cake mix 15 oz, prepared as directed or substitute with prepared brownies
  • 1 tub Cool Whip 8 oz
  • red and yellow food coloring optional for coloring
  • 1 can cherry pie filling 30 oz
  • 1 bag candy corn for decoration

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the cake mix according to the instructions and let it cool completely.
  • If desired, mix red and yellow food coloring into the Cool Whip to achieve a vibrant orange color.
  • Cut the cooled cake into bite-sized pieces.
  • In a large glass bowl, layer candy corn at the bottom, followed by cake pieces, Cool Whip, and cherry pie filling. Repeat layers until the bowl is filled.
  • Top with additional Cool Whip and more candy corn for decoration.
  • Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow flavors to meld.
