  • 2 cups butterscotch chips
  • 2 cups chocolate chips Use high-quality chocolate for better flavor
  • 3 cups chow mein noodles
  • 1 cup peanuts (optional) Adds extra crunch
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows (optional) For added texture

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Melt the butterscotch and chocolate chips together in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring each time until smooth.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine chow mein noodles and optional peanuts.
  • Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the chow mein noodle mixture and gently fold to coat all noodles.
  • If using, fold in the mini marshmallows into the mixture.

Shaping

  • Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a lined baking sheet, leaving space between each cluster.

Cooling

  • Allow the cookies to cool at room temperature until set or place them in the refrigerator to speed up the cooling.
