Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
Mix in the egg, vanilla extract, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and ground cinnamon until well combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
Fold in the melted butter or applesauce until fully incorporated.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the bread cool in the pan for 5-10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
