Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 cups unsweetened almond milk (or coconut milk)
  • 1/2 piece ripe banana
  • 4 pieces strawberries
  • 1/4 piece avocado
  • 1/2 Tbsp almond butter (or any nut/seed butter)
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 1 Tbsp unsweetened cacao or cocoa powder
  • 2 pieces pitted medjool dates (optional, for added sweetness)
  • As needed cacao nibs or dark chocolate shavings (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Measure the almond or coconut milk and add it to the blender.
  • Add the banana, strawberries, and avocado to the blender.
  • Include the almond butter, chia seeds, and cacao powder.
  • If desired, add the pitted medjool dates for sweetness.
  • Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy, adding more milk if necessary for consistency.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness if needed, then pour into glasses.
  • Garnish with cacao nibs or dark chocolate shavings if desired.

Notes
