Preparation

  • Begin by placing the boneless, skinless chicken breasts into the crockpot.
  • Sprinkle chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper over the chicken to coat well.
  • Pour a cup of salsa over the seasoned chicken.
  • Set your crockpot on HIGH for 2-3 hours or LOW for 4-5 hours.
  • Once cooking is finished, use two forks to shred the chicken in the crockpot.
  • Stir the shredded chicken into the salsa, ensuring it's well-coated.
  • Heat the tortillas in a skillet or microwave until warm.
  • Assemble tacos by filling warm tortillas with the chicken and salsa mixture.
  • Add your favorite toppings.
