Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken Fresh ground chicken for the best flavor.
  • 3 tbsp milk Used to soak bread.
  • 1 slice bread or 1/4 cup Italian breadcrumbs Bread should be soaked in milk to create the panade.
  • 3/4 tsp garlic salt Enhances flavor.
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper For seasoning.
  • 1 pc egg, whisked Helps breadcrumbs stick.
  • 3 tbsp melted butter or canola oil spray For coating nuggets.

Breading and Seasoning

  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs Provides a crunchy texture.
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, finely grated Adds flavor to the breading.
  • 2 tsp dried parsley For added flavor and color.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, take your slice of bread and pour the milk over it. Allow it to soak for about 2-3 minutes.
  • Sprinkle in the garlic salt and black pepper, mix until well combined.
  • Add the ground chicken to the mixture and gently combine.
  • Portion the chicken mixture into nugget shapes.

Breading

  • On a plate, combine Panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, and dried parsley.
  • Brush each nugget with the whisked egg, then roll in the breadcrumb mixture until fully coated.
  • Arrange the coated nuggets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush with half of the melted butter.

Baking

  • Place the nuggets in the preheated oven and bake for 7 minutes.
  • Brush with remaining melted butter and return to the oven for an additional 8 minutes.
  • Once baked, let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve with various dipping sauces and fresh vegetable sticks. Ensure to consider cooking in batches for even texture.
