Ingredients
  

For the Noodles

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Water as needed Water Add gradually until dough forms

For the Chili Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup chili sauce Use a brand of your choice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Preparation of Dough

  • In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and salt. Create a well in the center.
  • Crack the egg into the well and gradually add water, mixing until a dough forms.

Kneading the Dough

  • Flour your hands and knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Resting the Dough

  • Cover the dough with a clean towel or plastic wrap and let it rest for 30 minutes.

Rolling and Cutting Noodles

  • Roll out the rested dough to your desired thickness and cut it into strips.

Cooking the Noodles

  • Bring salted water to a boil in a large pot. Add the freshly cut noodles, cooking for 3-5 minutes until al dente.
  • Drain the noodles and set them aside.

Making the Chili Sauce

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chili sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Allow the sauce to simmer for a few minutes to enhance the flavors.

Combining and Serving

  • Toss the cooked noodles in the skillet with the chili sauce and mix until evenly coated.
  • Serve hot, garnished with herbs if desired.
