  • 1.5 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried ginger
  • Sprinkle of salt & pepper

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and dried ginger to create the marinade.
  • Add the chicken thighs to the marinade and toss until well coated.
  • Place the chicken thighs in an 8x11-inch baking dish, smooth side down.
  • Scrape the remaining marinade over the chicken thighs, ensuring even coverage.
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, flipping the chicken every 15 minutes for even cooking.
  • Check that the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 185°F (85°C).

Serving

  • Transfer chicken to a serving platter and pour the extra glaze over the top.
  • Garnish with freshly chopped green onions or sesame seeds.
  • Serve with rice, roasted vegetables, or a fresh green salad.
