Ingredients
  

For the Salmon

  • 4 pieces Salmon fillets (fresh or thawed) Opt for fresh, high-quality salmon for best results.
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce Adjust to taste for spice level.
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil For cooking the salmon.

For Serving

  • 1 cup Cooked rice (white or brown) Base of the bowl.
  • 1 cup Steamed broccoli Fresh or frozen broccoli can be used.
  • Sesame seeds for garnish Optional.
  • Green onions for garnish Optional, for color and flavor.

Preparation

  • In a small bowl, mix together honey, Sriracha sauce, and soy sauce until well-blended.

Cooking Salmon

  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
  • Once the oil is hot, add the salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for 4 to 5 minutes.
  • Flip the salmon fillets gently, glaze the top with the honey Sriracha mixture, and cook for an additional 4 to 5 minutes until fully cooked.

Assembly

  • In a bowl, start with a base of cooked rice.
  • Place a salmon fillet on the rice and add steamed broccoli.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions, if desired.
  • Drizzle remaining glaze from the pan on top of the salmon.
