Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef Lean ground beef works well.
  • 1 small onion, chopped Sauté until translucent.
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed

Spices and Seasonings

  • 2 tbsp chili powder Adjust to taste for spice preference.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt Adjust based on taste.
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions
 

Cooking

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 5 to 7 minutes, draining any excess fat.
  • Add the chopped onion and sauté for 3 to 5 minutes until translucent.
  • Stir in the tomato sauce and drained kidney beans until well combined.
  • Sprinkle in chili powder, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well.
  • Increase heat until the mixture simmers, then reduce to low, cover, and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary before serving over hot dogs.

Notes
