  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional, for extra heat
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Prepare your baking dish by lining it with parchment paper or greasing it with olive oil.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the honey, hot sauce, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using). Whisk until smooth.

Cooking

  • Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish and pour half of the honey mixture over them, ensuring they are thoroughly coated.
  • Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for about 25 to 30 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • While the chicken is cooking, heat the remaining honey mixture in a small saucepan over medium heat until it simmers, about five minutes.
  • Once the chicken is fully cooked, drizzle the thickened honey sauce over the top and garnish with parsley.

Notes
