  • 1/2 cup hot honey Can substitute with regular honey mixed with a touch of hot sauce.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For searing the chicken.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley For garnish.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix evenly.
  • Rub the seasoning mix over each chicken breast thoroughly.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Sear the chicken breasts for about three minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese over the tops of the chicken breasts.
  • Drizzle hot honey over the chicken and feta.
  • Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).

Finishing Touches

  • Allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes after baking.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
