Ingredients
  

Pizza Dough and Base

  • 1 piece Pizza dough
  • 1 cup Ricotta cheese
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 cup Fresh mozzarella cheese Torn into small pieces
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper

Toppings

  • 2 tbsp Hot honey
  • 1 cup Fresh arugula
  • 1/4 cup Fresh basil leaves
  • to taste Balsamic glaze Optional

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) to ensure a crispy crust.
  • Roll out your pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to your desired thickness.
  • Transfer the rolled dough onto a pizza stone or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Drizzle a bit of olive oil over the dough and spread it evenly with your fingers.
  • Spread a generous layer of ricotta cheese over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.

Baking

  • Tear fresh mozzarella into small pieces and distribute them evenly over the ricotta.
  • Season the pizza with salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Bake the pizza in the oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
  • Remove the pizza from the oven and drizzle hot honey generously over the top.

Finishing

  • Allow the pizza to cool for a few minutes, then sprinkle fresh arugula and basil leaves over the top.
  • If desired, finish with a drizzle of balsamic glaze for an extra layer of flavor.
  • Slice and serve hot.
