  • 1 small cucumber, finely grated
  • 1 small green chili, finely chopped (optional) Adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Enhances flavors.

Preparation

  • Wash the mint and cilantro leaves thoroughly and pat them dry.
  • In a mixing bowl, add the plain yogurt.
  • Add the chopped mint and cilantro to the yogurt.
  • Incorporate the grated cucumber and the green chili if using.
  • Sprinkle in the roasted cumin powder and salt.
  • Squeeze in the lemon juice to enhance the flavors.
  • Mix everything together until well combined and creamy.
  • Taste the sauce and adjust salt or lemon juice if needed.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving.

Notes
