Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 tsp rapid rise yeast
  • 1.25 tsp salt
  • 1.5 cups warm water (between 105°F and 110°F)
  • to taste coarse salt for sprinkling
  • olive oil for brushing the loaf

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, and yeast. Stir to mix well.
  • Pour in the warm water and stir until a shaggy dough forms.
  • Spray the liner of the Instant Pot with non-stick spray. Place the dough in the pot.
  • Close the lid and set to the Yogurt setting for 4 hours to allow the dough to rise.
  • After rising, remove the dough and shape it into a loaf on a floured surface. Let it rest while preheating the oven to 450°F (232°C).
  • Place a Dutch oven in the oven while it preheats. Brush the loaf with olive oil and sprinkle with coarse salt.
  • Once preheated, take out the Dutch oven and line it with parchment paper. Place the loaf inside, cover with the lid, and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Remove the lid and bake for an additional 15 minutes to achieve a golden crust.
  • Let the bread cool on a wire rack before slicing.

Notes

Store bread at room temperature in a breadbox or wrapped in plastic. For longer storage, freeze wrapped slices.
