Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
Add flour, salt, dried herbs, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese to the yeast mixture. Mix until a sticky dough forms.
Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a kitchen towel, and let rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours, or until doubled in size.
Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf or place it in a greased loaf pan. Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Place a shallow pan of water in the oven for steam.
Bake the bread for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and hollow-sounding when tapped.
Cool on a wire rack before slicing. Enjoy your freshly baked bread!
