Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 4-6 pieces brats (fresh, uncooked) Use your preferred type of bratwurst.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional) Optional for added flavor.
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Optional Toppings

  • 1 cup diced onions For a crunchy topping.
  • 1 cup sauerkraut Adds tanginess.
  • to taste mustard For extra zing.
  • to taste relish Provides a nice contrast.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (182°C) for about 5 minutes if required.
  • Pat the brats dry with paper towels and rub them lightly with olive oil if desired.
  • Season the brats with salt and pepper according to your taste.
  • Place the brats in the air fryer basket, ensuring space between them for air circulation.

Cooking

  • Cook the brats for 9-12 minutes, turning halfway through for even cooking.
  • Check the internal temperature; it should reach at least 160°F (71°C).

Serving

  • Carefully remove the brats from the air fryer and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.

Notes

To store, refrigerate cooled brats for up to 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the air fryer for 5 minutes at 350°F (175°C).
