Ingredients
  

For the Meatballs

  • 1 lb ground beef Fresh ground beef for best flavor.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Aromatic flavor.
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs Helps bind the meatballs.
  • 1 egg Acts as a binder.
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce Adds umami flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil Provides a nutty essence.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Seasoning to preference.

For the Glaze

  • 1/4 cup gochujang Korean chili paste for spice.
  • 2 tablespoons honey Adds sweetness.
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar Balances the glaze.

For Garnish

  • Sesame seeds For topping.
  • Green onions, chopped For freshness.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix until well incorporated.
  • Shape the mixture into meatballs the size of golf balls and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together gochujang, honey, and rice vinegar to make the glaze.

Baking

  • Bake the meatballs for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
  • During the last 5 minutes, brush the glaze over the meatballs.

Serving

  • Garnish the cooked meatballs with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
