light brown sugar

low sodium soy sauce

Instructions
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the ground beef to the skillet, crumbling it with a spatula. Cook for about 4-5 minutes until browned and cooked through.
Drain any excess fat from the skillet.
Add the minced garlic and ginger to the skillet. Sauté for an additional minute until fragrant.
In a small bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, and crushed red-pepper flakes.
Pour the sauce mixture over the cooked beef. Stir well and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until heated through and slightly thickened.
Remove from heat and serve hot over rice, garnishing with green onions and sesame seeds as desired.
