  • 1 lb beef (chuck or brisket), cut into strips Choose chuck or brisket for tenderness.
  • 2 cups beef broth Using high-quality beef broth enhances flavor.
  • 1 cup noodles (e.g., ramen or udon) Feel free to substitute with rice noodles or soba noodles.
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (e.g., carrots, bell peppers, and broccoli) Customize with your favorite vegetables.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste) Adjust amount for desired spiciness.

  • to taste Green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cut the beef into thin strips to ensure even cooking and flavor absorption.
  • In a slow cooker, combine the beef strips with the beef broth.
  • Add minced garlic and grated ginger, and then pour in soy sauce and sesame oil.
  • Stir in gochujang, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Cooking

  • Set the slow cooker on low for 6 to 8 hours.
  • 30 minutes before serving, stir in noodles and mixed vegetables.
  • Allow to cook for an additional 30 minutes until the noodles are soft and the vegetables are tender.

Serving

  • Ladle into deep bowls and garnish with chopped green onions.
  • Provide additional toppings like sesame seeds or gochujang on the side.
